Wish you could race a Spring Classic in Europe?

Race the third annual Hillsboro-Roubaix Spring Classic, through the brick streets and rural roads of beautiful Hillsboro, Illinois. Just 60 miles, but a world away from St. Louis, MO, this is small town America at its best. Registration starts at 8:30 AM and the racing begins at 11 AM. Racers will tour the brick streets of Hillsboro in a rolling neutral start, then race a 22 mile loop that has all you want in a Spring Classic: Flat open back roads heading into a northern headwind, rolling terrain, short but challenging climbs, twisty descents, and village streets paved in brick. Sorry, no real pave, the bricks will have to suffice! Road surfaces are good enough for 700 x 23 clinchers. There is some gravel in corners but a clear lane is swept. Back roads have some patched pavement sections.

Held Under USA Cycling Event Permit
