Cars specially designed for cruising the open road, with the top down, allowing the driver and passengers to appreciate nature at its best. Other essential features include: limited slip differentials, specialised clutches built for hard wear and tear, urethane mounts, closer ratio gear sets and improved suspension. All designed to gain the ultimate performance without compromising the life of the car.
Finally, safety factors are a must with obvious reasons. Feeling correctly restrained while the car is in motion is a direct result of the bucket seats and harness, which free up the hands for crucial steering wheel manoeuvring. Hand brakes have slight adjustments to prevent them locking at inappropriate times. Roll cages, rear spoilers, wings, hood vents, custom tyres and altered wheel arches, along with extra components added to the frame and other non-essentials left out of the inside, increase safety, stability and reduce weight.
Overall, it appears that drifting vehicles have undergone numerous modifications. When one thinks that they are really putting their lives in their cars hands more than the ordinary, it can most certainly be justified.
